The Sound of Music
Your Backstage Pass to Summer Concerts
Harmonious melodies fill the air every summer in Vermont. Free music can be found all over our great state. You can hear it in the libraries, on the farms, in the concert halls and in the parks. Here is where to catch some tunes this week:
WEDNESDAY
- Mini Concert for Children - at the UVM Recital Hall courtesy of the Craftsbury Chamber Players.
- Farm Barn Concert Series - Pack a picnic and head to Shelburne Farms to listen to this free concert for kids. There are even fireworks on this night as it is the last one in the series!
THURSDAY
FRIDAY
SATURDAY
- Franklin County Field Days - Set among the midway rides, tractor pulls and normal fair stuff you will find some great bands playing.
SUNDAY
- Vermont Mozart Festival Family Series - Head to the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory with a breakfast picnic to hear an introduction to storytelling set to classical music. This week's story: Babar the Little Elephant.
I'll be singing ya!
