Playing in a local theater near you this weekend is The Nutcracker at the Flynn. For only $3 you can catch the Very Merry Theatre's production of The Wizard of Oz. And down at the Waterfront Theater is The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.
FAMILY TIME
Little sluggers can see "Santa" Champ at the Lake Monsters store on Friday night. Catch a showing of Elf the movie at the Vergennes Opera House. Listen to Miss Vermont read holiday stories at the Red Clover Salon.
DEALS AND STEALS
Let's start with $14 lift tickets at Bolton today and tomorrow and there's even night skiing til 8pm...enuf said! Free Mini Horse and Buggy Rides on Church Street. One reader reports "This was a blast for the kids. There are 4 different mini's to choose from (all equally adorable), and the kids were allowed to ride as many times as they wanted. Of course they had to try all 4...more".
For your little ones, a Holiday Party at Bebop Baby Shop with a free wrapped present from Santa. Be sure to RSVP though to let them know you are coming.

How about tickets to see Video Games Live for the gamer on your list? They will be drawn to this show that features the VT Youth Orchestra playing music from games like Mario, Pac-Man, Tetris, and Donkey Kong alongside video footage and a synchronized laser show.
BREAK TIME
Your little Tiger Woods can play Pebble Beach right here in South Burlington at the new Vermont Indoor Golf with a school break special of only $20/hour. Theater buffs can study the "Best Musical of the Year" at the Very Merry Theatre 'Wicked' Camp. And hearty farmers can participate in a one day Vacation Camp at Shelburne Farms.
