FRIDAY
Chocolate Walk in Bristol - 5:00-8:00pm
Who doesn't want a little sweet treat while they shop? As part of the town's celebration, Cool Yule 2008, each store will have a complimentary chocolate treat for customers - mouse, cheesecake, hot chocolate, fondue and more. Yummy!
SATURDAY
Elf Express Train Ride - 10:00am or 2:00pm
So you didn't get tickets to the Polar Express this year, but no worries because this 1 & 1/2 hour train trip includes a special visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Santa Days in Middlebury - 10:00am - noon
Santa will be at the wooden toymaker, Maple Landmark Woodcraft, greeting children in the morning. While you are in town, swing by the Gingerbread House Exhibit at the Vermont Folklife Center -- a feast for the eyes!
Holiday Kids Corner @ Shelburne Art Center - 11:00am - 2:00pm
Dilemma: You want to shop in Shelburne Village and your kids don't. Solution: Drop them off for FREE at the Shelburne Art Center and let them do craft activities.
Ornament Decorating @ Bebop - 11:30am
Children and babies can decorate an ornament for their loved ones this holiday season.
Holiday Wreath Making @ Green Mtn. Audubon - 1:00 - 4:00pm
Calling all crafty parents and their children 8 and older. Make a special homemade gift for the wildlife lovers on your list. You will decorate your wreath with natural treats.
SUNDAY
The Best Christmas Pageant Ever - 7:00pm
You can catch this classical, comedy performance at either the Hyde Park Opera House or the Waterfront Theater in Burlington, with multiple performances over the weekend.
A Christmas Carol @ The Flynn Theatre - 7:00pm
A little birdie told me that there are a few seats left for this time-honored holiday performance. A perfect way to wrap up the weekend.
