The Big Picture

Summer in the city with Teresa Davis.  Honestly if your children are showing some interest in exploring their art potential, then this is the place to be. Creativity just oozes out of her studio.  Don't just take my word for it, read why other parents all give Davis Studio 5 stars!

"My daughter did the drama camp, and was absolutely glowing by the end of the week...more."

"Look no further for a nurturing place for your budding artist...more"

"Love, Love, Love everything about Teresa's art camps!...more"

The Landscape

The Landscape

This year she is offering 9 different camps to inspire your petite Picasso.

Fine Artists

  • Fabulous Folk Art  (ages 7-14) is offered for 8 sessions in July and August. This is an opportunity to use several mediums including painting with acrylic on canvas.

Fashionistas

  • Fashion Design (ages 10-14) gives fledgling designers the chance to learn to sew on a sewing machine, compile a portfolio and finish the week with a fashion show modeling clothes they have made.
  • Advanced Fashion Design (ages 12-16) The first week of camp is followed up by Advanced Fashion for those who just want more or who have taken the previous class in the past.

Decorators

  • Interior Design  (ages 11-15) New for '09.  Dream it. Design it. Build It.  Kids will learn to transform spaces by using color, lighting, texture and more.

 Illustrators

  • Mermaids Under the Sea (ages 6-10) It's time to get crafty beneath the waves. Paint a seahorse, design a sand castle, and even make some sea shell jewelry.
  • Dragons & Wizards (ages 6-10) Art wizards will sculpt, sketch and depict these mythical, fire-breathing monsters.
  • Cartooning & Anime (ages 8-14) Pokemon, Sponge Bob, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, BONE...sound familiar?  If your kids are into these then they will be into this camp. They can create their own comic strip, turn it into a bound book and even create a 3-D version of some of the characters.

Performers

  • Lights, Camera, Action (ages 10-14) Are the mini Tom Messner or John Madden wanna-bes in your house always giving you the scoop on the weather and sports? In this camp they will get their chance at the real thing (well sort of).

Freelancers

  • Individualized Art (ages 12-18) Have your older child spend some time in the studio with the support he or she needs to take it to the next level.

Stay glued, more camps in the coming weeks.
